Instrument Course
Completion of the Instrument pilot course will allow you to fly in instrument weather
conditions during the day or at night. You will be able to fly through the clouds and land
at over 5,000 airports using instrument approach procedures such as the Instrument
Landing System. You will also be able to use the latest instrument landing system, the
GPS RNAV Approach System. Our factory new Cessna 172SP has the safest
navigation equipment to help you fly through the clouds.
Minimum Requirements
- Must have a Private or Commercial Pilot Certificate
- Understand and speak the English language
- Show proof of US citizen or obtain a TSA clearance
- 3rd class medical certificate
- 40 hours Instrument flight time
- 15 hours of flight instruction
- 50 hours PIC cross-country time
- Pass an aeronautical knowledge test
- Pass a final practical test
You can obtain your license in as little as 3 to 6 months and will cost around $6,000.
